The other day I watched a TV programme about British 20th century abstract artists and there was one bloke whose name I can’t remember who said that he started with a mark and then waited for it to prompt a second mark and so on. I gave it a try … these three are in the order in which I painted them:
I can’t remember if one of them said how long it took but mine were each most of a day.
